The K239 Chunmoo multiple rocket launcher system will provide the Croatian Army with a strike capability at ranges exceeding 300 kilometres.
The system will be capable of reaching ranges of up to 500 kilometres with suitable munitions and will be operated alongside the Croatian Army’s HIMARS systems.
The K239 is equipped with a hybrid GPS/INS navigation system, providing high accuracy even against moving targets and enhancing precision and effectiveness in dynamic operational environments.
The Chunmoo system can fire CTM-MR and CGR-80 missiles equipped with high-explosive fragmentation (HE-FRAG) warheads.
The CTM-MR has a range of 50–160 kilometres and a CEP of 9 metres and is launched from a single pod.
The CGR-80 has a range of 30–80 kilometres and a CEP of 15 metres, while each pod can carry up to 6 munitions.
