The HÜRJET program has taken an important step toward the transition to serial production for the Turkish Air Force.

Turkish Aerospace plans to increase the production line’s capacity to two aircraft per month once full-rate production is reached.

Test and validation activities continue with two HÜRJET prototypes under the program, while production and assembly work on the delivery-standard HÜRJET is ongoing.

HÜRJET has a maximum speed of Mach 1.4 and a service ceiling of 45,000 feet (13,716 meters), and is powered by a General Electric F404 turbofan engine.

HÜRJET has a length of 13.6 meters, a wingspan of 9.5 meters and an empty weight of 4,500 kilograms.
