Most of the torpedoes have already been delivered, while the remaining units are scheduled to arrive by the end of 2026.

Although the Type 214 submarines previously relied largely on older-generation torpedoes, the introduction of the SeaHake Mod4 significantly enhances their operational capabilities.

The SeaHake Mod4 can reach speeds of approximately 50 knots and engage targets at ranges of around 50 kilometers, depending on the mission profile, selected speed, and operational conditions.

Equipped with a 260-kilogram warhead, the torpedo initially follows targeting data transmitted by the submarine before transitioning to autonomous search and terminal guidance using its active and passive sonar.
