Qatar has requested to purchase up to four KC-46A aircraft, eight PW4062 turbofan engines (4 installed, 4 spares), 10 AN/ALR-69A radar warning receivers (4 installed, 6 spares), 15 Guardian Laser Transmitter Assemblies (GTLA), including 12 installed and 3 spares, and eight LAIRCM system processor replacements.

The principal contractors are Boeing, Pratt & Whitney, RTX, and Northrop Grumman, and the U.S. Government is not aware of any proposed offset agreement in connection with the sale.

The KC-46A is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW4062 turbofan engines, with each engine producing 62,000 lbf (approximately 276 kN) of thrust.

The KC-46A has a fuel capacity of 96,297 kg, a maximum takeoff weight of 188,241 kg, and a maximum cargo capacity of 29,484 kg.

The KC-46A reaches a maximum speed of Mach 0.86 (approximately 1,025 km/h) and has a maximum range of 6,385 nautical miles (11,825 km)
