The total value of the KDDX Destroyer program is estimated to be approximately $5.1 billion.
Under the KDDX program, the goal is to develop six next-generation guided-missile destroyers using technologies developed by South Korea.
Hanwha Ocean will be responsible for the design and construction activities of the first ship under the program.
The final contract for the KDDX program will be signed following the completion of negotiations.
The first KDDX platform is projected to be delivered to the South Korean Navy in 2032.
The procurement process for the remaining five destroyers is planned to begin in 2028 and be completed by 2036…
