The Neom, the second vessel under a new three-corvette contract signed in 2025, will be delivered to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces following the completion of outfitting activities.
The final vessel is scheduled for delivery to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces in 2029.
Based on the Avante 2200 design, the new corvettes share the same specifications as the vessels delivered under the first batch.
Designed for multi-role operations, the ships will perform maritime surveillance and intelligence-gathering missions, as well as anti-submarine warfare, air defense, anti-surface warfare and electronic warfare.
