The latest addition to the Sea Giraffe AMB radar family features active electronically scanned array (AESA) technology, a new software architecture and advanced signal processing capabilities.
The radar provides three-dimensional surveillance and can detect, track and classify aircraft, UAVs, missiles, and crewed or uncrewed surface vessels.
By providing early warning and target information, the system is intended to enhance naval forces’ situational awareness and decision-making capabilities across different operational domains.
