Saab Receives Order for Two GlobalEye AEW&C Aircraft!

Saab has secured an order for two GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft

The contract, awarded by a country in the Middle East region, is valued at 10.1 billion Swedish krona (approximately $1.038 billion), with deliveries scheduled for 2030.

The GlobalEye is an advanced multi-domain AEW&C platform featuring a suite of active and passive sensors capable of detecting and identifying air, maritime, and ground targets at long ranges.

By providing real-time data to joint forces, the system enhances situational awareness and enables the early detection of threats.

The aircraft is equipped with the Saab Erieye Extended Range (ER) radar, a maritime surveillance radar, electro-optical and infrared sensors, electronic support and electronic intelligence (ELINT) systems, AIS, IFF/ADS-B, satellite communications, data links, and a multi-domain command and control system.
