The F414-GE-400 is an afterburning, low-bypass turbofan engine used on the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter aircraft, providing 22,000 lbf (98 kN) of static thrust.

The F414 engine’s compressor incorporates blisk technology, reducing weight and cost while improving performance and ease of maintenance.
