With this contract, the total number of F-15EX Eagle II aircraft ordered by the U.S. Air Force has reached 120.

Combining a fully digital touchscreen cockpit and advanced mission systems with long range, high speed, and substantial payload capacity, the F-15EX can reach a maximum speed of Mach 2.5 and operate at a maximum altitude of 15,240 meters.

It has a payload capacity of 13,381 kg and can carry up to 12 AIM-120 AMRAAMs or an equivalent combination of large munitions.

Equipped with the Raytheon APG-82 AESA radar, the F-15EX supports the detection and tracking of air and ground targets, along with engagement capabilities enabled by its advanced mission systems.

The aircraft is also fitted with the Eagle Passive Active Warning and Survivability System (EPAWSS), an electronic warfare and self-protection suite.
