The second Embraer C-390 platform is scheduled for delivery to the Czech Air Force by 2028.
The C-390 is a tactical air transport platform with a maximum payload capacity of 26 tons and a maximum speed of 470 knots.
By integrating the AAR (Air-to-Air Refueling) system, the C-390 converts into the KC-390 configuration, enabling it to provide mid-air refueling to other aerial platforms.
In this context, it will have the capability to provide aerial refueling to the JAS 39 Gripen fighter jets in the Czech Air Force inventory.
