The agreement encompasses the production of F-15EX Eagle II fighter aircraft, modernization packages, onboard systems integration, and operational support services.
The initial ordering period for the F-15EX Eagle II extends through 2031, with the agreement capable of being extended through 2036.
Under the program, orders may be placed not only for new aircraft but also for modernization and upgrade packages for F-15 fighter aircraft already in service.
The F-15EX Eagle II features a payload capacity of 13,300 kilograms (29,300 pounds) and is capable of carrying up to 12 AIM-120 AMRAAMs or munitions of equivalent size.
The F-15EX retains the high-speed and long-range characteristics of the F-15 family, while its advanced avionics, digital flight control system, and Open Mission Systems (OMS) architecture enable the faster integration of new sensors, data links, and weapons.
