The contract covers the production, delivery, and associated support services for the aircraft.

Production and delivery of the three E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Block II aircraft are scheduled for completion by the end of 2031.

The E-2D Advanced Hawkeye is a twin-engine platform designed to provide airborne early warning, surveillance, battle management, and command-and-control capabilities to carrier strike groups.

Equipped with the AN/APY-9 radar system, the E-2D can detect, identify, and track air and surface targets at long ranges across large operational areas, while processing sensor data to provide a common tactical picture to friendly forces.

The E-2D Advanced Hawkeye can conduct multiple missions simultaneously, including air defense operations, strike coordination, support to ground forces, search and rescue, and the establishment and sustainment of secure communications networks across distributed forces…
